Marek Małkowski graduated in law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk, passed the judicial exam in 1999; he acquired the attorney-at-law permissions in 2001, and in 2009 he also entered on the list of attorneys-at-law. In 1999 he graduated in psychology studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Gdańsk. He graduated in Postgraduate Studies in accounting at the University of Gdańsk in 2002. He has been in his professional career since 1997 – first as an assistant and trainee, then as a partner and board member of a law firm with several dozen of lawyers, and currently he is the managing partner of a partnership company INTESA Law Office. Marek Małkowski specializes in company law, securities law, investments in the capital market, mergers, divisions and transformation processes of enterprises, M&A transactions, including commercial, civil, tax, administrative and public law issues. During the implementation of projects he often cooperated with economic, financial and tax advisors as well as statutory auditors, hence he has knowledge going beyond purely legal aspects. The object of his activity is to provide legal services: preparation of legal information and expertise, preparation and giving opinions on contracts, analysis and evaluation of all other legal documentation, due diligence, participation in negotiations and discussions, ongoing consultations and legal advice, representation in administrative bodies and to third parties. There is also a possibility of comprehensive support for specific projects and business processes.
During his professional life, Marek Małkowski was responsible – as an expert – for providing consultancy services under the Sectorial Operational Program. Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises. Measure 2.1. Increase in the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises through consultancy (as part of the accreditation granted by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, which accredited it to provide consultancy services in three areas of specialization, i.e. running businesses in the European Union, merging companies into the European Union, merging enterprises and obtaining external financing for business development), and also acted as a person directly responsible for holding the Authorized Advisor in the Alternative Trading System rights on the New Connect market at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
